WFSB Channel 3 is reporting that two Coventry residents were found dead inside a home at 6 Stage Road and that police believe it to be a murder/suicide.
Connecticut State Police have identified the two victims as Janice Lesko and Gregory Pawlovski.

Update – Following is the press release issued by CT State Police, received by HTNP on Aug. 26 after the above posting.
On Aug. 23 2013, at approximately 10:14 p.m., Coventry Police received a 911 call to report a disturbance at a residence located at 6 Stage Road in Coventry. It was reported the incident possibly involved a firearms.
Upon arrival, Coventry police officers established a perimeter around the residence and attempted to also establish communication with the occupants of the residence without success. Assistance was requested from a regional tactical team to also respond to the scene.
At approximately 1 a.m. (Aug. 24) the Capital Region Emergency Services Tactical Team made entry into the private residence and located inside the house two (2) deceased people. Coventry Police secured the crime scene.
At the request of the Coventry Chief of Police and the State’s Attorney, the Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad was requested to respond to conduct the criminal investigation, assisted by Coventry Police. Detectives are processing the scene and collecting both physical and forensic evidence.
Preliminary investigation by State Police has determined that these untimely deaths appear to be a murder/suicide involving a firearm.
Detectives are continuing the investigation.
The Office of the Chief States Medical Examiner will conduct a post mortem examination of both deceased to determine the manner and cause of death.

The deceased have been identified as: Gregory Pawloski (DOB 09-29-67) and Janice Lesko (DOB 11-25-65). They resided at 6 Stage Road, Coventry.
State Police are continuing the investigation.
